DMCA Policy & Copyright Notices

LemoTV respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), 17 U.S.C. § 512, we respond to properly submitted notices of alleged copyright infringement and maintain a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of repeat infringers.

Submitting a copyright infringement notice

If you believe content made available through the Service infringes a copyright you own or control, send a written notice to our Designated Agent that includes all of the following, as required by 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3):

  1. A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf.
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
  3. Identification of the material claimed to be infringing, with information reasonably sufficient to locate it (for example, a URL).
  4. Your contact information: name, address, telephone number, and email.
  5. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  6. A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf.

Counter-notification

If you believe your content was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to the Designated Agent containing: your signature; identification of the material and its prior location; a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed by mistake or misidentification; your name, address, and phone number; and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your address (or, if outside the US, any district in which we may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the party who filed the original notice.

Repeat infringers

We will, in appropriate circumstances, disable or terminate the accounts of users who are determined to be repeat infringers.

Misrepresentation

Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing, or was removed by mistake, may be liable for damages.
